Webshop Fixes
One measurable win per day

Real fixes for real webshops.

No growth hacks, no funnels, no course. Just one concrete thing you can change in your store today — with the before and after numbers, so you can see whether it worked.

  • Built by a WooCommerce developer who ships stores, not screenshots
  • Every fix is measured — speed, checkout, product data, search visibility
  • If a tool doesn't earn its price, it gets said out loud

The 12-point store audit

The same checklist I run on every store before touching anything. Twelve checks, plain language, no signup wall beyond your email.

Free, instant — the checklist opens straight away. No spam, never shared.

Opening the checklist …

Fixes that keep coming up

These four account for most of the money left on the table in the stores I look at. None of them are design problems.

FIX 01

Your product page is loading four things it never uses

Plugins queue their scripts on every page by default. Most stores can drop a second of load time without removing a single feature.

FIX 02

AI crawlers are blocked in robots.txt

Often added by a security plugin "just in case". If GPTBot and PerplexityBot can't read your store, you can't be recommended when someone asks an AI what to buy.

FIX 03

Supplier product data is wrecking your search visibility

Imported feeds bring duplicate titles and missing attributes. Search engines treat it exactly as badly as it looks.

FIX 04

Checkout asks for fields nobody needs

Every extra required field is a place to abandon. Most stores collect two or three they never actually use.

Tools I actually use

Short list on purpose. These are the ones that survived on stores I run myself — each with the honest reason it's here.

Automation

systeme.io

Email, landing pages and automations in one place, with a free tier that is genuinely usable rather than a two-week tease.

Here because the free plan means a small store can start without a card.

Platform

Shopify

If you don't want to maintain anything yourself, this is the shortest path from nothing to a store that takes money.

Here because "just use WooCommerce" is bad advice for someone with no developer.

Visibility

Semrush

For finding what people actually search before you write a single product description. Expensive, and worth it only above a certain size.

Here with a caveat: below roughly 200 products, the free alternatives are enough.

Ad / affiliate disclosure. Some links on this page are affiliate links. If you buy through them, this site earns a commission at no extra cost to you. It doesn't change what gets recommended — every tool listed here is one used on a real store, and the caveats are the same ones given to a paying client.
